2. I enjoy eating my lunch standing at our kitchen counter reading downloaded sports or political news.
3. I drive a 2003 dark blue Subaru station wagon with a moon roof.
4. I attended a political fund raiser at Stephen King’s house.
5. I usually meditate every day and try to practice yoga four or five times each week.
6. I have a (nearly) obsessive attraction to fountain pens.
7. It drives me nuts when my socks don’t stay up, when drivers don’t use their turn signal, and when anyone tries to tell me that the Yankees are better than the Red Sox.
8. I enjoy cooking, but not nearly as much as I enjoy eating.
9. Among my most favorite movies are Shakespeare in Love, Stand by Me, Nobody’s Fool, Mystery, Alaska, and, of course, Kevin Costner’s baseball movies: Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, and For Love of the Game.
10. When I was in elementary school, two of my brothers and I celebrated the end of the school year by burning all our papers and reports behind the garage.
